Do I need to give you a credit card when I make my reservation? All reservations made through GoWilliamsburg require a credit card guarantee.
What is the payment policy? All tickets are billed to the credit card immediately. Some hotels also bill the first night room and tax at the time of booking. Some hotels use your credit card to guarantee payment, but wait until the day of arrival or at check-in to charge your credit card.
Why am I having problems booking online? It is possible that the dates you selected are not available or the attraction that you want to visit is not open during your stay. Busch Gardens-Williamsburg and Water Country U.S.A. are seasonal operations.
What is the cancellation policy? The cancellation policy starts noon three days prior to your date of arrival. If you make any changes or cancellations within these three days, the hotel will charge you the first night's room and tax. There is also a $20 processing fee for the cancellation of any tickets for failing to cancel within the stated cancellation period.
How much is parking? At Busch Gardens-Williamsburg and Water Country U.S.A., parking is $10.00 per day. You can use the same pass at both parks as long as you go during the same day. There is no fee to park at Colonial Williamsburg's Regional Visitors Center or Jamestown Settlement and Yorktown Victory Center.
Which airport is the closest to Williamsburg? The closest airport is Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport in Newport News, Virginia. It is only 20 minutes away. There is also Norfolk International and Richmond International Airport which is approximately 45 minutes from Williamsburg.
What is a standard room? A standard room has two double beds or two queen beds, a private bathroom and color cable television.
Which hotels allows pets? You can do a pet search from the drop down hotel listing on the hotel page. Williamsburg is fairly pet friendly.
How many people can stay in one room? The maximum occupancy varies depending on fire code restrictions for the hotel, as well as the type of room booked. Most hotels allow four or five people in the room. In the suite properties, the room maximum is between five and six people.
Which hotel is closest to the attraction I am visiting? All of the properties in the Williamsburg area are within a 10 mile radius of the attractions.
Am I guaranteed my special request? (Non smoking, smoking, first floor, connecting rooms, adjacent rooms). Special requests are submitted to the hotel and honored to the best of the hotel's ability.
